Senior Software Engineer, AML Engineering

Social Finance, LLC (SoFi) seeks a Senior Software Engineer, AML Engineering in Seattle, Washington. Part-time telecommuting is an option, with hybrid work from SoFi's Seattle offices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement end-to-end software solutions.
• Use programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
• Partner with senior engineers to translate business needs into software solutions, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
• Design and develop robust, scalable, secure server-side applications, microservices, and APIs.
• Work with databases and data models to manage and store information effectively.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application reliability and functionality.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers in technical best practices and foster engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three years of experience in the position offered or a related occupation.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
• Special skill requirements: Java, Python, AWS, Agile development methodology, test-driven development, experience in all phases of the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, GitHub/GitLab or another source code repository management tool, Spring Boot, React, SQL, data structures, JavaScript, design patterns, operating systems, microservices, and Docker.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary: $200,000–$220,000, plus standard company benefits.
• Final base pay depends on experience, skills, and location.
