Senior Product Manager, AI Core Services

Role

Tanium seeks a Senior Product Manager for its AI Core Services portfolio, building core experiences and infrastructure for its agentic platform. This execution-focused role owns day-to-day product work that translates strategy into delivered software, partnering with engineering and UX from ideation through launch and enablement.

Location and schedule

Hybrid, with three days per week in the office. Available locations:

• Addison, TX
• Bellevue, WA
• Durham, NC
• Emeryville, CA

Responsibilities

• Own delivery from ideation to launch, including grooming, prioritization, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Shape core platform workflows and experiences used across the organization at enterprise scale.
• Translate customer needs, field signals, and support escalations into prioritized requirements and specifications. Author specifications that drive engineering execution in a spec-driven, AI-assisted development process.
• Work with internal domain experts to ground decisions in real-world use cases.
• Conduct customer discovery and present product vision, updates, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with product marketing, enablement, and support to ensure successful customer adoption of new capabilities.
• Track and deliver objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure success and guide iterative improvement.
• Adapt plans quickly as business and market priorities change.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of product management experience, with shipped products you can discuss.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence without authority across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support.
• Clear communication tailored to different audiences.
• Bias toward action and outcomes, including driving results with incomplete information.
• Ability to learn new domains quickly and connect learning to business priorities.
• Hands-on technical experience with a variety of AI tools and enthusiasm for transforming product management through AI.
• Confidence engaging customers, including senior technical leadership.

Compensation and benefits

• Annual base salary: $169,000–$259,000. Actual offers may vary based on location, education, skills, training, and experience.
