Software Engineer, Internship - Production Infrastructure

The Role

Software Engineers at Palantir drive large-scale transformation through data, AI, and world-leading infrastructure supporting mission-critical workloads. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute high-quality code directly to:

• Rubix and Apollo: Platforms deployed across public and private sector institutions.
• Mission Manager: Powering infrastructure in highly sensitive environments for advanced civil and defense agencies.
• Foundry and Gotham: Providing the foundational substrate for workflows used by researchers, intelligence analysts, and engineers.

You will join the Production Infrastructure organization working on:

• Environment Platform: Kubernetes-based PaaS spanning hundreds of production clusters
• Apollo: Fleet-wide deployment and change management for complex microservice suites
• Signals: Full suite of observability and alerting tools

Core Responsibilities

• Own every phase of the product lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to feature execution and shipping releases.
• Pair with a dedicated mentor who supports your technical growth.
• Work alongside technical and non-technical teammates to solve real customer problems.

What We Require

• Engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Experience coding in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Must be planning on graduating in 2028 (final internship prior to graduating).
