Risk Strategy Execution Analyst

Role

SoFi's Risk Strategy Execution Analyst assists with implementing strategies and treatments across lending products. The role coordinates collections initiatives that improve collections efficiency while remaining within policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate implementation of new treatments and strategies across lending products.
• Develop detailed business requirements for small to mid-sized projects and communicate them to Risk Infrastructure (R/I), Engineering & Product Development (EPD), and other partners.
• Assist with strategic initiatives while maintaining visibility across Legal, Compliance, Finance, EPD, and R/I.
• Perform post-implementation validation and suggest or implement solutions to mitigate, monitor, and report defects.
• Identify key project work streams and facilitate cross-departmental communication and coordination within major release timelines.
• Develop internal mechanisms to track and report project progress, identifying and escalating blockers and risks early.
• Offer creative solutions to move initiatives forward despite roadblocks.
• Work with Operations and EPD to identify gaps in system and operational process flows, aligning strategy, execution, policies, state legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines for contacting delinquent customers.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of collections and operations industry experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple projects on track while recognizing and communicating risks and roadblocks.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues, suggest alternatives, and support loss-prevention goals.
• Effective, collaborative verbal and written communication, including translating business needs into detailed product requirements and seeking clarification to resolve ambiguity.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex, data-driven problems.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and business partners in a remote work setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong SQL experience for data-level testing validation.
• Experience working in Snowflake.
• Project management experience.
• Strong collections industry knowledge, including FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, and the impact of CFPB Regulation F.

Location and Compensation

• Primary location: Jacksonville, Florida. Cottonwood Heights, Utah, is also listed.
• Remote work from Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico cannot be accommodated.
• Annual base salary: $99,200–$124,000. Final pay depends on experience, skills, and location.
• Eligible for a bonus and competitive benefits.
