The Forward Deployed Engineer, New Grad

Palantir builds software for data-driven decisions and operations. Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) embed directly with customers to tackle their most pressing challenges, from predicting wildfire risks to optimizing global supply chains, driving real-world impact using technical expertise and creativity.

Core Responsibilities

• Solve mission-critical problems by deploying software and AI into high-stakes operations.
• Work in small, high-trust teams and own projects end-to-end, from customer conversations to product delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers to make architecture and design decisions.
• Wrestle with high-scale data that breaks assumptions and demands invention.
• Build custom applications, LLM workflows, and production solutions tailored to customer realities.
• Own relationships with stakeholders ranging from day-to-day users to executive decision-makers.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (preferred fields include Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science).
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Must be graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
